Hadith 5100
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلَا أُنْبِئُكُمْ بِخِيَارِكُمْ؟» قَالُوا: بَلَى. قَالَ: «خِيَارُكُمْ أَطْوَلُكُمْ أَعْمَارًا وَأَحْسَنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا» رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about the best among you?" They said, "Please do tell us." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best among you are those whose lives are the longest among you and whose character is the best among you." Hasan, narrated by Ahmad.
