(صَاحِبُ اللِّسَانِ السِّيِّءِ لَا يَدْخُلُ الجَنَّةَ)
(The foul-tongued will not enter Paradise)
Hadith 5080
وَعَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٌ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ الْجَوَّاظُ وَلَا الْجَعْظَرِيُّ» قَالَ: وَالْجَوَّاظُ: الْغَلِيظُ الْفَظُّ رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فِي «سُنَنِهِ» . وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي «شُعَبِ الْإِيمَانِ وَصَاحِبُ» جَامِعِ الْأُصُولِ «فِيهِ عَنْ حَارِثَةَ. وَكَذَا فِي» شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ عَنْهُ وَلَفْظُهُ قَالَ: «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ الْجَوَّاظُ الْجَعْظَرِيُّ» . يُقَالُ: الْجَعْظَرِيُّ: الْفَظُّ الْغَلِيظُ وَفِي نُسَخِ «الْمَصَابِيحِ» عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ وَلَفْظُهُ قَالَ: وَالْجَوَّاظُ: الَّذِي جَمَعَ وَمَنَعَ. وَالْجَعْظَرِيُّ: الغليظ الْفظ
Haritha bin Wahb (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A person with bad character and a hard heart will not enter Paradise." (Abu Dawood, Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman). And the author of Jami' al-Usul has also narrated it, and in it, it is narrated from Haritha, and likewise, it is narrated from him in Sharh al-Sunnah, and its wording is: He said: "A boastful and harsh person will not enter Paradise." The meaning of "ja'zari" is said to be: "harsh-natured and harsh-tongued." And in the manuscripts of Misbah, it is narrated from Ikrimah bin Wahb, and its wording is: The meaning of "jawwaz" is: a miser who hoards wealth, and the meaning of "ja'zari" is: "harsh-natured and harsh-tongued." Sahih, narrated by Abu Dawood and al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman and in Sharh al-Sunnah and mentioned in Misbah al-Sunnah.
