Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(مَنْ حُرِمَ النُّعُومَةَ حُرِمَ خَيْرَ الآخِرَةِ)
(Whoever is deprived of gentleness is deprived of the good of the Hereafter)
Hadith 5076
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أُعْطِيَ حَظَّهُ مِنَ الرِّفْقِ أُعْطِي حَظَّهُ مِنْ خَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَنْ حُرِمَ حَظَّهُ مِنَ الرِّفْقِ حُرِمَ حَظَّهُ مِنْ خَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ» . رَوَاهُ فِي «شرح السّنة»
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever is given his share with gentleness, he has been given his share of goodness in this world and the Hereafter. And whoever is deprived of his share of gentleness, he is deprived of his share of goodness in this world and the Hereafter." Hasan, narrated in Sharh al-Sunnah.
