كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(الحَيَاءُ كُلُّهُ خَيْرٌ)
(Modesty is entirely good)
Hadith 5071
وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْحَيَاءُ لَا يَأْتِي إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ» . وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «الْحيَاء خير كُله» مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ
Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Modesty brings nothing but good." In another narration: "Modesty is nothing but goodness in its entirety." Agreed upon.
