Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(العَجَلَةُ فِي أُمُورِ الآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ)
(Haste in matters of the Hereafter is better)
Hadith 5058
وَعَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ الْأَعْمَشُ: لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «التُّؤَدَةُ فِي كُلِّ شَيْء إِلَّا فِي عَمَلِ الْآخِرَةِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
Mus'ab bin Sa'd narrates from his father, while A'mash said: I know this (hadith) only from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is better not to act hastily in anything except for deeds of the Hereafter." Its chain is weak, narrated by Abu Dawood.
