(الفَقْرُ قَدْ يُؤَدِّي إِلَى الكُفْرِ)
(Poverty can lead to disbelief)
Hadith 5051
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كَادَ الْفَقْرُ أَنْ يَكُونَ كفرا وكادَ الحسدُ أَن يغلب الْقدر»
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Poverty is close to becoming disbelief (due to objecting to Allah), and envy is close to overpowering destiny." Its chain is weak. Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
