Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(مَنْ أَضَرَّ بِأَحَدٍ سَيُجَازَى)
(Whoever harms someone will be recompensed)
Hadith 5042
وَعَن أبي صرمة أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ ضَارَّ ضَارَّ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ شَاقَّ شَاقَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ» . رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيب
It is narrated from Abu Surmah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever causes harm to a (Muslim), Allah will cause harm to him in return, and whoever puts someone in hardship, Allah will put him in hardship." Ibn Majah, Tirmidhi, and they said: This hadith is gharib. Its chain is weak. Narrated by Ibn Majah and Tirmidhi.
