Hadith 5039
Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The disease of previous nations has crept into you (unnoticed): envy and hatred and enmity, and it is something that destroys good deeds. I am not saying that it shaves the hair, but rather it destroys the religion." Its chain is Hasan. Narrated by Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi.
