(الإِبَاحَةُ فِي الكَذِبِ فِي ثَلاثِ مَسَائِلَ)
(Permission to lie in three matters)
Hadith 5033
عَن أَسمَاء بنت يزِيد قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا يَحِلُّ الْكَذِبُ إِلَّا فِي ثَلَاثٍ: كَذِبُ الرَّجُلِ امْرَأَتَهُ لِيُرْضِيَهَا وَالْكَذِبُ فِي الْحَرْبِ وَالْكَذِبُ لِيُصْلِحَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ
Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Lying is permissible only in three cases: a man lying to please his wife, lying during war, and lying to reconcile between people." Sahih, narrated by Ahmad and Tirmidhi.
