Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(مُكْرِمُ رَبِّهِ ٱلْكَرِيمِ)
(One who honors the Generous Lord)
Hadith 5022
وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدٌ عَبْدًا لِلَّهِ إِلَّا أَكْرَمَ رَبَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever loves someone for the sake of Allah, then he has honored his Lord, the Mighty and Majestic." Its chain is Hasan. Narrated by Ahmad.
