كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(عِلَاجُ صُلْبَةِ ٱلْقَلْبِ)
(Treatment for hardness of the heart)
Hadith 5001
وَعَن أبي هُرَيْرَة أَنَّ رَجُلًا شَكَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَسْوَةَ قَلْبِهِ فَقَالَ: «امْسَحْ رَأْسَ الْيَتِيم وَأطْعم الْمِسْكِين» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that a man complained to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about the hardness of his heart. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Stroke the head of the orphan and feed the poor." Its chain is weak, narrated by Ahmad.
