Hadith 4990
It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Abi Qurad (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution, and his companions (may Allah be pleased with them) began to rub the water from his ablution on their bodies. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to them: "What made you do this?" They replied: The love of Allah and His Messenger. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever wishes to love Allah and His Messenger, or that Allah and His Messenger love him, then when he speaks, he should speak the truth; when something is entrusted to him, he should return it; and he should treat his neighbors and those he associates with kindly." Its chain is weak. It is narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
