كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(أَجْرُ ٱلْإِحْسَانِ إِلَى ٱلْيَتِيمِ)
(Reward for kindness to the orphan)
Hadith 4973
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ بَيْتٍ فِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ بَيْتٌ فِيهِ يَتِيمٌ يُحْسَنُ إِلَيْهِ وَشَرُّ بَيت فِي المسلمينَ بيتٌ فِي يَتِيم يساء إِلَيْهِ» . رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of the houses among the Muslims is the house in which there is an orphan and he is treated well, and the worst of the houses among the Muslims is the house in which there is an orphan and he is treated badly." Its chain is weak, narrated by Ibn Majah.
