Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(لَا يُعْتَبَرُ مُؤْمِنًا كَامِلًا مَنْ يُؤْذِي جَارَهُ)
(One who harms his neighbor is not a complete believer)
Hadith 4962
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ» . قِيلَ: مَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ: «الَّذِي لَا يَأْمَنُ جَارُهُ بَوَائِقَهُ» . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "By Allah! He is not a believer, by Allah! He is not a believer, by Allah! He is not a believer." It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who (is not a believer)? He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one whose neighbor is not safe from his mischief." Agreed upon.
