(أَجْرُ الشَّفَاعَةِ وَثَوَابُهَا)
(Reward and merit of intercession)
Hadith 4956
وَعَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا أَتَاهُ السَّائِلُ أَوْ صَاحِبُ الْحَاجَةِ قَالَ: «اشْفَعُوا فَلْتُؤْجَرُوا وَيَقْضِي اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَان رَسُوله مَا شَاءَ» . مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ
Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that when a beggar or a needy person would come to him, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say: "Intercede (on behalf of others), you will be rewarded, and Allah will decree what He wills through the tongue of His Messenger." Agreed upon.
