كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(مَشَقَّةُ مُسْلِمٍ وَاحِدٍ مَشَقَّةُ جَمِيعِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ)
(The pain of one Muslim is the pain of all Muslims)
Hadith 4954
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمُؤْمِنُونَ كَرَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ إِنِ اشْتَكَى عَيْنُهُ اشْتَكَى كُلُّهُ وَإِنِ اشْتَكَى رَأْسُهُ اشْتَكَى كُله» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Nu’man bin Bashir, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “All believers are like a single body; if its eye is in pain, the whole body feels pain, and if its head is afflicted, the whole body feels the affliction.” Narrated by Muslim.
