(مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ)
(The example of the believers)
Hadith 4953
وَعَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَرَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تراحُمِهم وتوادِّهم وتعاطفِهم كمثلِ الجسدِ إِذا اشْتَكَى عضوا تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى» . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “You will find the believers, in their mutual mercy, love, and kindness towards one another, like a single body; when one limb suffers, the whole body responds with wakefulness and fever.” Agreed upon.
