كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(بُشْرَى لِلَّذِينَ يَعْتَنُونَ بِالْيَتَامَى)
(Good news for those who care for orphans)
Hadith 4952
وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ ��َلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ لَهُ وَلِغَيْرِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ هَكَذَا» وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى وفرَّجَ بَينهمَا شَيْئا. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “I and the one who takes care of an orphan, whether the orphan is his own or someone else’s, will be in Paradise like this.” And he (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured with his index and middle fingers and then made a slight gap between them. Narrated by al-Bukhari.
