(الأَخُ الأَكْبَرُ فِي مَوْضِعِ الأَبِ)
(The Elder Brother Is in the Place of the Father)
Hadith 4946
وَعَن سعيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: «حقُّ كبيرِ الإِخوَةِ على صَغِيرِهِمْ حَقُّ الْوَالِدِ عَلَى وَلَدِهِ» . رَوَى الْبَيْهَقِيُّ الأحاديثَ الخمسةَ فِي «شعب الْإِيمَان»
Saeed bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The right of the elder brother over his younger brothers is like the right of the father over his children." Imam Bayhaqi has narrated all five hadiths in Shu'ab al-Iman. Its chain of narration is weak. Narrated by al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
