(حَقُّ الوَالِدَيْنِ عَلَى الأَوْلَادِ)
(The Right of Parents Over Their Children)
Hadith 4941
وَعَن أبي أُمامةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا حَقُّ الْوَالِدَيْنِ عَلَى وَلَدِهِمَا؟ قَالَ: «هُمَا جَنَّتُكَ ونارُكَ» . رَوَاهُ ابنُ مَاجَه
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked: O Messenger of Allah! What right do parents have over their children? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Both of them are your Paradise (cause) and your Hell (cause)." Its chain is weak, narrated by Ibn Majah.
