(التَّرْغِيبُ فِي حُسْنِ المُعَامَلَةِ مَعَ الأَقَارِبِ)
(Encouragement to Treat Relatives Well)
Hadith 4934
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَعَلَّمُوا مِنْ أَنْسَابِكُمْ مَا تَصِلُونَ بِهِ أَرْحَامَكُمْ فَإِنَّ صِلَةَ الرَّحِمِ مَحَبَّةٌ فِي الْأَهْلِ مَثْرَاةٌ فِي الْمَالِ مَنْسَأَةٌ فِي الْأَثَرِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيب
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Learn your lineage to the extent that you maintain the ties of kinship, for maintaining the ties of kinship brings love among relatives, increases wealth, and prolongs life." (Tirmidhi), and he said: This hadith is gharib. Its chain is hasan. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
