(القَوْمُ الَّذِينَ فِيهِمْ عَدَمُ الرَّحْمَةِ)
(The People Among Whom There Is No Mercy)
Hadith 4931
وَعَنْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا تَنْزِلُ الرَّحْمَةُ عَلَى قَوْمٍ فِيهِمْ قَاطِعُ الرَّحِمِ» رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي «شُعَبِ الْإِيمَان»
Abdullah bin Abi Awfa, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Mercy is not sent down upon a people among whom there is a person who severs the ties of kinship." Its chain of narration is weak. It was narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.
