Hadith 4929
وَعَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جدَّه قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ أَبَرُّ؟ قَالَ: «أُمَّكَ» قُلْتُ: ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ: «أُمَّكَ» قُلْتُ: ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ: «أُمَّكَ» قُلْتُ: ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ: «أَبَاكَ ثُمَّ الْأَقْرَبَ فَالْأَقْرَبَ» رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد
Bahz bin Hakim narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather, who said: I asked, O Messenger of Allah! With whom should I behave kindly? He ﷺ said: "With your mother." I asked, then who? He ﷺ said: "With your mother." I asked, then who? He ﷺ said: "With your mother." I asked, then who? He ﷺ said: "With your mother." I asked, then with whom? He ﷺ said: "With your father, then the nearest and then the next nearest relatives (behave kindly with them)." Its chain is Hasan. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood.
