Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Who is most deserving of my good conduct?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Your mother." He asked, "Then who?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Your mother." He asked, "Then who?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Your mother." He asked, "Then who?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Your father." In another narration, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Your mother, then your mother, then your mother, then your father, then the closest of your relatives, then the next closest."
