Hadith 4906
وَعَن سُراقَة بن مالكِ بن جُعْشُم قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «خير كم الْمُدَافِعُ عَنْ عَشِيرَتِهِ مَا لَمْ يَأْثَمْ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
Suraqah bin Malik bin Ju'sham (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said while addressing us in a sermon: "The best defender among you is the one who defends his family, provided he does not commit a sin." Its chain is weak, narrated by Abu Dawood.
