(Some attributes of the believer)
Hadith 4860
وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يُطْبَعُ الْمُؤْمِنُ عَلَى الْخِلَالِ كلِّها إِلا الخيانةَ وَالْكذب» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A believer cannot be habitual of betrayal and lying; however, anything besides these can occur in him." Its chain is weak. Narrated by Ahmad.
