Hadith 4858
Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A Bedouin came, made his camel sit down, tied it, and entered the mosque. He prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet finished the prayer with salam, the Bedouin went to his mount, untied it, mounted it, and called out in a loud voice: “O Allah! Have mercy on me and on Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and do not include anyone else in our mercy.” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Do you think he is more ignorant, or his camel? Did you not hear what he said?” The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied: Yes, we heard it. Its chain of narration is weak; it is narrated by Abu Dawood. And the hadith narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): “It is enough for a man to be considered a liar that he narrates everything he hears.” This has already been mentioned in the first section of the chapter on holding fast (to the Book and Sunnah).
