(الْحَيَاءُ زِينَةٌ)
(Modesty is an adornment)
Hadith 4854
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا كَانَ الْفُحْشُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا شَانَهُ وَمَا كَانَ الْحَيَاءُ فِي شيءٍ إِلا زانَهُ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Obscenity in anything makes it defective, and modesty in anything adorns it." Its chain is authentic, narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
