Hadith 4834
وَعَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جده قا ل: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «وَيْلٌ لِمَنْ يُحَدِّثُ فَيَكْذِبُ لِيُضْحِكَ بِهِ الْقَوْمَ وَيْلٌ لَهُ وَيْلٌ لَهُ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد والدارمي
Bahz bin Hakim narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Woe to the person who lies while speaking in order to make people laugh; woe to him, woe to him." Its chain is Hasan. Narrated by Ahmad, al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, and al-Darimi.
