Hadith 4826
وَعَنِ الْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْمَدَّاحِينَ فَاحْثُوا فِي وُجُوهِهِمُ التُّرَاب» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Miqdad bin Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you see those who excessively praise others, throw dust on their faces." Narrated by Muslim.
