Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(لَا يُقَالُ هَكَذَا: هَلَكَ النَّاسُ)
(Do not say: People are ruined)
Hadith 4822
وَعَنْهُ: قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَجِدُونَ شَرَّ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ذَا الْوَجْهَيْنِ الَّذِي يَأْتِي هَؤُلَاءِ بوجهٍ وَهَؤُلَاء بوجهٍ» . مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, you will find the worst person to be the one who is two-faced, who goes to some people with one story and to others with another story." Agreed upon.
