Hadith 4777
It is narrated from Abu Mas’ud Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), that either he said to Abu Abdullah or Abu Abdullah said to Abu Mas’ud: What have you heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say about the word “za’amu” (they claim)? He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “It is bad for a man to speak in such a manner.” Abu Dawood, and he said: By Abu Abdullah is meant Hudhaifah. Sahih, narrated by Abu Dawood.
