Hadith 4776
وَقَالَ: وَغَيَّرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْم الْعَاصِ وعزير وَعَتَلَةَ وَشَيْطَانٍ وَالْحَكَمِ وَغُرَابٍ وَحُبَابٍ وَشِهَابٍ وَقَالَ: تركت أسانيدها للاختصار
And Abu Dawood said, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) changed the names ‘Aas, ‘Azeez, ‘Atlah, Shaytaan, Hakam, Ghuraab, Hubab, and Shihab, and he said: I have not mentioned their chains of narration for the sake of brevity. Authentic, narrated by Abu Dawood.
