Hadith 4775
وَعَن بشير بن مَيْمُون عَن أُسَامَةَ بْنِ أَخْدَرِيٍّ أَنَّ رَجُلًا يُقَالُ لَهُ أصْرمُ كانَ فِي النَّفرِ الَّذِينَ أَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا اسْمك؟» قَالَ: «بَلْ أَنْتَ زُرْعَةُ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
Bashir bin Maimoon narrates from his uncle Usama bin Akhdari that a man named Asram was among those who came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, asked: "What is your name?" He replied: Asram. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No, rather you are Zar'ah." Its chain is Hasan. Narrated by Abu Dawood.
