وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ كَانَ يُغَيِّرُ الِاسْم الْقَبِيح. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to change bad names. Sahih, narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
