(جَوَابُ عُطَاسِ الْيَهُودِ)
(Response to the sneezing of Jews)
Hadith 4740
وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ: كَانَ الْيَهُودُ يَتَعَاطَسُونَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْجُونَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُمْ: يَرْحَمُكُمُ اللَّهُ فَيَقُولُ: «يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ
Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Jews used to sneeze in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) hoping that he would say to them, "May Allah have mercy on you." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say: "May Allah guide you and set your affairs right." Its chain is authentic. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood.
