Hadith 4658
Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was present in the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and there was a scribe before him. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Place the pen on your ear, for doing so (placing the pen on the ear) helps one remember the purpose and outcome quickly." (Tirmidhi), and he said: This hadith is gharib and its chain is weak. Its chain is weak. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
