Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(السَّلَامُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ سَبَبُ بَرَكَةِ الْبَيْتِ)
(Greeting the household is a cause of blessings for the home)
Hadith 4652
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «يَا بُنَيِّ إِذَا دَخَلْتَ عَلَى أَهْلِكَ فَسَلِّمْ يَكُونُ بَرَكَةً عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتك» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Son! When you go to your family, greet them with salam; (in this way) there will be blessings upon you and your household." Its chain is weak, narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
