Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب الآدابThe Book of Manners
(سَلَامُ النِّسَاءِ خَصِيصَةٌ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ)
(Greeting women is a specialty of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him)
Hadith 4647
وَعَن جَرِيرٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ عَلَى نِسْوَةٍ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِنَّ. رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ
It is narrated from Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by some women and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) greeted them with salam. Hasan, narrated by Ahmad.
