It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "As-salamu Alaikum!" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied to him, then he sat down. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "(For him) there are ten (good deeds)." Then another person came and said: "As-salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah!" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied to him, and when he sat down, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "(For him) there are twenty (good deeds)." Then another person came and said: "As-salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh!" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied to him, and when he sat down, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "(For him) there are thirty (good deeds)." Its chain is Hasan. Narrated by Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood.
