The Book of Clothing
(لَا جَوَازَ لِلرَّجُلِ فِي دَهَانِ ٱلزَّعْفَرَانِ عَلَى ٱلْجِسْمِ)
(It is not permissible for a man to apply saffron on the body)
Hadith 4434
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَتَزَعْفَرَ الرَّجُلُ
Anas said the Prophet forbade men to use saffron. (Mirqat, iv, 461, says this applies to their clothing and their bodies, as it is a female custom but does not prohibit a small use of it.) (Bukhari and Muslim.)
