(Making Nabīdh in a water-skin)
Hadith 4287
وَعَن عائشةَ قَالَتْ: كُنَّا نَنْبِذُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سِقَاءٍ يُوكَأُ أَعْلَاهُ وَلَهُ عَزْلَاءُ نَنْبِذُهُ غُدْوَةً فَيَشْرَبُهُ عِشَاءً وَنَنْبِذُهُ عِشَاءً فيشربُه غُدوةً. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
‘A’isha said:We used to steep dates for God’s messenger in a skin which was tied at the top and had a mouth. What we steeped in the morning he would drink in the evening, and what we steeped in the evening he would drink in the morning. Muslim transmitted it.
