The Book of Foods
(كَيْفَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ؟)
(How did the Prophet, peace be upon him, eat?)
Hadith 4168
وَعَن أبي جُحَيْفَة قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: «لَا آكل مُتكئا» . رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
Abu Juhaifa reported the Prophet as saying, “I do not eat reclining.” Bukhari transmitted it.
