(لَا يَحِقُّ لِلْقَاضِي الْعَفْوُ عَنْ مُجْرِمِ الْحَدِّ، بِرِوَايَةِ ابْنِ مَاجَه)
(Even the judge has no right to pardon a Hudud criminal, as narrated by Ibn Majah)
Hadith 3599
وَرَوَى نَحْوَهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بن صَفْوَان عَن أَبِيه
Ibn Majah transmitted something similar on the authority of ‘Abdallah b. Safwan who quoted his father’s authority.
