Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب القصاصThe Book of Retaliation
(اللَّعْنَةُ عَلَى مَنْ أَشَارَ بِالسِّلَاحِ إِلَى أَخِيهِ المُسْلِمِ)
(Curse upon one who points a weapon at his Muslim brother)
Hadith 3519
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَشَارَ إِلَى أَخِيهِ بِحَدِيدَةٍ فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تَلْعَنُهُ حَتَّى يَضَعَهَا وَإِنْ كَانَ أخاهُ لأبيهِ وَأمه» . رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
He reported God’s Messenger as saying, “If anyone points a piece of iron at his brother the angels will curse him till he puts it down, even if he is his brother who has the same father and mother.” Bukhari transmitted it.
