كتاب النكاح
The Book of Marriage
(يَجِبُ بَدْءُ كُلِّ عَمَلٍ بِحَمْدِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى)
(Every action should begin with the praise of Allah Almighty)
Hadith 3151
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كُلُّ أَمْرٍ ذِي بَالٍ لَا يُبْدَأُ فِيهِ بِالْحَمْدِ لِلَّهِ فَهُوَ أَقْطَعُ» . رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ
He reported God's Messenger as saying, "Every important matter which is not begun by an expression of praise to God is maimed.” Ibn Majah transmitted it.
