كتاب البيوع
The Book of Sales and Trade
(العُمْرِيَّةُ مِلْكٌ لِمَنْ أُعْطِيَتْ لَهُ)
(Umra is the property of the one to whom it is given)
Hadith 3011
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أُعْمِرَ عمرى لَهُ ولعفبه فَإِنَّهَا الَّذِي أعطيها لَا ترجع إِلَى الَّذِي أَعْطَاهَا لِأَنَّهُ أَعْطَى عَطَاءً وَقَعَتْ فِيهِ الْمَ��َارِيث»
He reported God’s Messenger as saying, “If anyone has property [[given him for the use of himself and his descendants it belongs to the one to whom it is given and does not return to the one who gave it because he gave a gift which may be inherited.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)
