Mishkat al-Masabih
كتاب البيوعThe Book of Sales and Trade
(العُمْرِيَّةُ وَالمَعْمُولَةُ تَصِيرُ مِلْكًا لِلْوَرَثَةِ)
(Umra and Ma’mula become the property of the heirs)
Hadith 3010
وَعَنْ جَابِرٌ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الْعُمْرَى مِيرَاثٌ لِأَهْلِهَا» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Jabir reported the Prophet as saying, “What is given in life-tenancy:is part of the inheritance of those who receive it.” Muslim transmitted it.
