The Book of Pilgrimage Rites
(عَرْضُ السِّلَاحِ فِي الحَرَمِ غَيْرُ جَائِزٍ)
(Displaying weapons in the sanctuary is not permissible)
Hadith 2717
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِأَحَدِكُمْ أَنْ يَحْمِلَ بمكةَ السِّلَاح» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Jabir said he heard God's messenger say, “It is not allowable for any of you to carry weapons in Mecca.” Muslim transmitted it.
