The Book of Pilgrimage Rites
(تَأْخِيرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي طَوَافِ الزِّيَارَةِ)
(The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, delaying the Tawaf of Ziyarah)
Hadith 2672
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخَّرَ طَوَافَ الزِّيَارَةِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه
‘A’isha and Ibn ‘Abbas said that on the day of sacrifice God's messenger postponed the circumambulation of the visit till night. Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
